Miss Southeast Texas USA/Teen USA 1993

This year (2023) will mark the 50th birthday of Miss Universe 1995 Chelsi Pearl Smith (1973-2018). Chelsi's pageant story started in Teen division of Miss TX Teen USA, but her progression to Miss Universe started here in 1993 winning the Miss SE Texas USA pageant. She would go on to Miss Texas USA 1994 where she placed in the Top 12. Of course she would come back the next year in 1995 and win Miss Texas USA representing Galveston County. The rest, of course, is history. Chelsi is and will always be a beloved Miss Universe and an angel to all of those who knew her, seen her, and continue to celebrate her. :)
