Pittsburgh Penguins Free Agency Update! Trades, Free Agents, and Extensions.

In addition to the Pittsburgh Penguins extending Evgeni Malkin one more season, they extended his Russian winger, Egor Chinakhov. GM Kyle Dubas extended the RFA to a 3-year $18.75m contract, averaging $6.25 million per year. Keeping Malkin and Chinakhov together for at least one more season. But Dubas wasn’t done there - he extended goalies Arturs Silovs and Joel Blomqvist. While adding Andrei Kuzmenko (1 Year, $5M), Trevor van Riemsdyk (2yr $8m total), Atley Calvert, Declan Carlile in free agency - the Penguins also traded for David Gustafsson, Kaeden Korczak, Hendrix LaPierre and Nick Robertson. Nick Robertson has filed for arbitration. Another deal that came after the show was 2026 2nd pick Tomas Galvez signed an Entry Level Contract with the Pens for 3-Year, $3,022,500.
