Boyou Hou - Mechanism-guided thermoelectric strategies for smart fire prevention

CFM student Boyou Hou recently presented at our CFM Virtual Research Seminar Series on the research he is conducting during his PhD. His presentation explores how mechanism-driven thermoelectric material design - through structural engineering, energy filtering, ion doping, and interfacial optimization - enables next-generation self-powered fire prevention and early warning systems.
