CJP Protest Jantar Mantar: Cockroach Janta Party founder Abhijeet Dipke has accused Delhi Police of denying permission to set up tarpaulin sheets at the #JantarMantar protest site despite heavy rain. Protesters claim that continuous rainfall on the night of July 8 left mattresses and belongings soaked, with several people reportedly falling sick. #Dipke said his team had been seeking approval for tents for the past three days but had received no response. Videos from the site show him requesting permission from police officers and questioning why security personnel had shelter while protesters remained exposed to the rain.
