How to Write an RBT Session Note?

Key points that a session note must contain are: -Date of service and timeframe -Type of session activity (Natural Environment Teaching), Discrete Trial Training (DTT), Daily Living Skills, Mand Training, Social Skills, Community Skills -Verification SAMPLE SESSION NOTE Date: 01/5/2023 Time of Service: 2 PM – 5 PM Session Activity: Discrete Trial Training (DTT) In the beginning of the session, Mickey Mouse (MM) and the RBT worked at the table to complete his number tracing goal, identifying colors from the array of three, and tacted/ labeled action pictures. While completing the number tracing goal, the RBT had to provide hand over hand physical prompt to ensure that the MM was tracing on the lines. MM was reinforced with screen time on the RBT’s iPad and preferable toy. Session Activity: Natural Environment Training (NET) Later, MM and RBT went outside to play in the backyard. MM ran to the swing and the RBT was able to run the interverbal goals as she pushed MM on the swing, “ready, set, (go)”. After, MM bounced on the trampoline and the RBT cheered him on and ran the counting goal with the number of jumps that MM completed.
