IRONMAN 70.3 Coeur d'Alene brings elite athletes, thousands of supporters to the Lake City

Thousands of athletes and supporters filled the streets of Coeur d'Alene on Sunday as the 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 Coeur d'Alene once again transformed the Lake City into one of the Inland Northwest's premier endurance racing destinations. The annual event, now in its 23rd year, featured impressive performances at the front of the field, with the top men's finisher narrowly missing a sub-four-hour finish. George Hoffmann claimed the men's title with a winning time of 4 hours, 2 minutes and 10 seconds. Seattle's Karrie Stewart was the top female finisher, crossing the finish line in 4:38:54. Spokane native and Ferris High School graduate James Adams finished fourth overall among the men and shaved 25 minutes off his previous time.
