The German agricultural machinery manufacturer Strautmann is known for its extensive range of cattle feeding equipment. The product range includes self-propelled, trailed, and stationary feed mixing equipment with hopper sizes ranging from 4 to 40 cubic meters. At Agritechnica 2013, Strautmann presented a new generation of Verti-Mix: these are trailed single-auger vertical mixers. We have now field-tested the middle of three models, the Verti-Mix 1251.
