I happened to be back in Bohol, Philippines. I couldn't find a local night market on Panglao Island, but there's one in Tagbilaran. And it's on a massive scale. Now Bohol Airport is on Panglao Island, but it used to be in Tagbilaran. The airport in Tagbilaran is currently undergoing renovations, though I'm not sure what will happen. The runway of the old Tagbilaran Airport has been converted into a public exercise area, and a night market is held at the end of the runway. A vibrant local night market in the Philippines. But there are no foreign tourists. It's an incredibly impressive night market...
