How To Make Blueberry Custard Tart Recipe

Learn how to make a blueberry custard tart with my detailed recipe. This started off as a reshoot of my 'tarte aux myrtilles' which I've done a hyperlapse video of before. Myrtilles, also known as bilberries, are European wild blueberries (the big ones we usually find at the supermarket are their American cousins). And I find bilberries usually have a more concentrated flavour, but I can only ever find them frozen. But this time a bum bag of frozen bilberries ruined my first filming attempt and forced me to do a last-minute shop for fresh blueberries and use those instead. And it worked super well. So now you know that you can use either frozen or fresh blueberries for this recipe (as long as your bag of frozen berries is good and doesn't have a whole load of frost inside). 👓 Get the full breakdown of my blueberry custard tart recipe on my blog: https://www.tashcakes.com/2020/08/tar... 👇 Subscribe for more recipes at a glance and hit the notification bell so you know as soon as I've uploaded a video. 📸 Follow my food feed on Instagram:   / tashcakes.tastes   Video contents: 00:00 – Intro 03:48 – Preparing and separating the eggs 05:54 – Making the sweet tart crust 07:35 – Making spare dough shortbread biscuits 10:03 – Making the custard filling 12:39 – Filling the blueberry tart 18:50 – The slowmo ---------- Music: Wallflowers by Bad Snacks, A Caring Friend by Bad Snacks, In THe Atmosphere by Bad Snacks, Summer in the Neighbourhood by Bad Snacks, Kate's Waltz by Bad Snacks, A Night Alone by Track Tribe, Walk Through the Park by Track Tribe.
