Our Route to Waste Net Zero – Michael Topham (CEO, Biffa)

During our customer conference, our CEO Michael Topham outlined a comprehensive roadmap to achieve Waste Net Zero, highlighting the need to embrace the shift from the Waste Hierarchy to the Carbon Hierarchy, as well as drive greater adoption of recycled plastics. He also suggested considering a moratorium on Energy Recovery Facilities, taking more action to phase out waste exports and stressed the importance of championing a zero-emissions and competitive collections market.
