Wolf ceramic sculpture before firing
Wolf sculpture by Belinda Weston. How good is this! Commissions & Sculptures taken. [email protected] Finished on site at Pilling Pottery / Northern kilns. Then left to dry gently before a slow firing to bisc 1000 deg C. Belinda did it the proper way by doing the sketch solid. Cutting it in 2 to gouge out most of the clay. Putting the 2 pieces back together and finishing. The sculpture was transported still "green" (wet) so as to be able to titivate the blemishes caused by transportation.
