Drawing on a research study examining the motivations of women who prefer gay male pronography, Cunningham explains how gay male porn offers women a space free of gender anxiety, the barriers that straight pornography presents to female viewers, and how pornography can both reflect and produce how we sexually express ourselves. Ashley Cunningham is a recent graduate of Emerson College concerned with how social inequalities and sex negative culture impact our erotic spaces, including how we interpret pornography.
