The Most Charming City Sighisoara, Romania located in Transylvania! A small medieval town located in the heart of Transylvania, this is a must-see when visiting Romania. We allowed ourselves a few days to explore the small town of Sighisoara, also known as Dracula's hometown, which we found to be the perfect amount of time. Within the walls of the fortified city, there is so much to do from walking the winding cobblestone streets admiring the brightly painted buildings, visiting the magnificent churches, climbing up in the clock tower for the best view, and just allowing the city to take you back in time. After all the exploring, then find your way into the town square where you can sit down and relax and just take in the beauty this city has to offer!
