SPADE – STRENGTH IS GOOD, TECHNIQUE IS BETTER You'll eventually reach a point where you can't get very far with a hand shovel, but simply digging blindly with a spade won't get you anywhere either. 👉 The key is how you use it. – Hold the spade vertically – Step on the edge with your foot – Then leverage, don't pull 💡 My best tips: – Slightly damp soil = much easier to work with – Work with a smooth, controlled motion rather than force – For lawn edges or roots: use a controlled, sweeping motion – A sharp spade really makes all the difference 🪚 Extra tip: In the video, I also show you a version with serrations: my personal favorite because it works through soil and roots even more easily.
