Comon Dubai Car Rental Fraud. How Car Rental Companies Scam Tourists from Rich Countries. Car Rental Company that scammed me was Sixt. Review in Tripadvisor is 1 star for Sixt... Unfortunately, your Bank will not be able to save you from this fraud, so make sure you understand how it works! People from poor countries are not getting scammed cause they pay with cash, so whenever possible pay by cash while in UAE. Even when you pay security deposit pay with cash, 99% chance you will NOT see these money anyways... Reasons not to rent a car in UAE: 1. Common spread car rental scams where rental company sends you fraudulent traffic tickets to pay or charge your card for thousands of $ claiming they paid traffic ticket on your behalf. 2. Boring scenery while driving between cities/towns. 3. Bad driving experience, aggressive drivers that blink and demand the right of way even if you go 50 km/h above the speed limit. 4.
