Replacing a lathe DC motor with an AC motor
In this video I am replacing my chinese lathe's DC motor and electronics with an AC motor and an inverter drive for it. The old one was supposed to have something like 1hp (which I do not belive was ever the case). New setup produces 2hp so the improvement should be quite significant.
