DEAD OR ALIVE Extacy (Uncanny X-Tended Mix)

This is a cover of the soul classic by Barry White. Originally titled "It's Ecstasy When You Lay Down Next To Me", and it is one of my favorite covers from Pete & Dead Or Alive. First heard on Pete's 1992 USA tour, it was not released until after his death, on the album "Fan The Flame (Part 2- The Resurrection"). The song showcases Pete's gorgeous baritone and has a production value to the instrumentation that is both reverent to the original and sounds fresh and modern. I extended it only by using the album and instrumental versions- no split stems on this one!
