5 hours of the garter carriage knitting a scarf with AYAB

AYAB is an open source project to retrofit vintage knitting machines to be controlled by computer. We've been working hard to fix bugs and get the software ready for a 1.0 release. Now the garter carriage is working correctly! In this stream, I'm using my KG-88 garter carriage with my Brother KH-910 standard gauge knitting machine to knit a scarf with an intricate knit and purl pattern. AYAB is open source which means that the software and hardware spec are available for free and are developed by a group of volunteers.
