Load Testing a Battery

Using a carbon pile tester to load test a battery may seem like a old fashioned test and it most certainly is, but it the most accurate test there is and if you know how to analyze the numbers you can see exactly what the battery is doing. Modern conductance testers are fine but you don't get any kind of real insight as to how good or bad the battery is compared to a load test.
