Friction Factor calculation Using the Colebrook Equation #fluidmechanics #chemicalengineering

The Colebrook equation is a widely used method to calculate the Darcy friction factor (f) in pipe flow. The equation is particularly useful in situations where the flow is turbulent. The formula relates the friction factor to the Reynolds number (Re) and the relative roughness of the pipe (ε/D), where ε is the pipe roughness, and D is the pipe diameter.
