From there, we pack our bags and make the steep, challenging climb into the high rocky cliffs to find seasonal treasures. The mountain peaks are filled with natural abundance if you know where to look, and today we are searching for edible greens, traditional herbal teas, and powerful medicinal plants that our family has used for generations. The climb is tough, but the reward is breathtaking. Not only do we find bags full of fresh mountain herbs, but we also share the terrain with the magnificent wild mountain goats that rule these cliffs!
