A thousand years - {Ariel/Eric/Vanessa}

Everyone knows the story of The Little Mermaid. What would happen if the story changed ? Imagine Ursula and Vanessa are two different people. Imagine the bad win. Imagine that there is no happy ending. Here's a new story : Eric's father wants to marry his son to Vanessa. She is a princess and loves Eric who doesn't like her. One day, Eric walks on the beach, angry because of this marriage, and sees Ariel. He feels immediately attracted to her and decides to take her in his castle. They become closer and Eric realizes he is in love with her. But Vanessa is jealous of Ariel and asks Ursula, the goddess of the oceans, to help get rid of her rival. Ursula transforms Ariel into a mermaid and takes her under the sea. Ariel is desperate because she loves Eric but they could never be together. She thinks about him and all the moments they shared together (black scenes). She wonders if Eric also think about her. Obviously Eric always think about her and misses her a lot. He decides to take a boat to try to find her. Unfortunately, a storm arrives and the boat caught fire. Ariel sees the lights and wants to know what happens. She sees Eric who is blocked and shouts his name. Eric hears and sees her. But the powder explodes. Ariel saves Eric. When he wakes up, he sees her and smiles so she realizes that he still loves her. She decides to ask Ursula to change her in human again. Ursula accepts and they make a deal : if Ariel marries Prince Eric, she will keep her legs forever, but if she fails, she will return siren. Ariel signs the contract and becomes human. Unfortunately, when she arrives at the castle, she sees Eric and Vanessa talk to Eric's father. He congratulates them about their engagement. Ariel can not believe her eyes, she refuses to accept the idea that Eric has forgotten her. Vanessa sees her run away and smiles. What Ariel doesn't know is that Vanessa has asked Ursula to give her a necklace to bewitch the Prince and force him to love her. Eric has forgotten everything about Ariel. The ceremony will take place on a boat. Evening comes and Ariel looks at the boat. Eric marries Vanessa and Ariel feels desesperate so she decides to jump into the water. Why does she jump ? You can decide if she jumps because she wants to die or to become a mermaid again. ---------------------------- I know that this story is worse than the original.
