Graduated from the Master's program at Soka University Graduate School. Received the Soka Gakkai Gold Medal in February 1991. Former Deputy Director of the Planning Department at the Seikyo Shimbun. He is one of the Gakkai's strongest debaters and a leading figure in the anti-Nichiren Shoshu movement. In the midst of the second Nichiren Shoshu scandal, he was in charge of the Soka Shimbun's anti-Nichiren Shoshu campaign, thoroughly refuting the slander of the Nichiren Shoshu. In 2014, he was expelled from the Gakkai for denouncing the misdeeds of Tanigawa Yoshiki, Sato Hiroshi, Yahiro Yorio, Kitabayashi Yoshinori, and Takeoka Seiji. He currently serves as a member of the Doctrine Research Group, where he condemns the arrogant false saints who betray the relationship between mentor and disciple and who destroy Buddhism, as predicted by second Gakkai president Toda.
