First Drive of my Street Legal Survivor 1932 V8 Ford
This Video celebrates the licensing and registration of my vintage 1932 V8 Ford Deluxe Fordor Sedan. Although I had previously done restoration work on two Vintage VW's ( 1965 & 1971), I never imagined I would be actually restoring a 90 Year Old Vehicle that I had dreamed of since I was 10 year old boy in the 1960's. Certainly the 1968 "Bonnie & Clyde" film had an influence on my memorization with the '32 Ford, but the historical significance of the First American Automobile with a V8 Engine increased the attraction. And while the complete restoration will take many years for me to complete, the First BIG STEP was getting the car registered and titled in my name, which required several of the processes captured in this video, including the addition of Turn Signals, the Operation of the Windshield Wipers and ensuring the basic reliability of the vehicle. More to come in the future !!
