Norton Commando Engine Rebuild. Part 63: Fitting the Clutch Plates
This video is part of a series covering the full strip down and rebuild of a MKII 850 Norton Commando engine. This particular video shows the clutch plates being fitted followed by the diaphragm spring which is first compressed with a special spring compressor. The diaphragm spring is in turn is held in place with a large circlip and the spring compressor removed. The clutch adjuster nut is then fitted and adjusted so that there is just a little play in the mechanism.
