Something Borrowed, Something Blue - BMW R850R

Something Borrowed, Something Blue - BMW R850R A quick apology to anyone who watched last weeks video. I do repeat some of what was said in that one. I wasn't planning on using that one but changed my mind after I had already put this one together. Time stamps. 0:00 Video Intro 0:46 Channel intro featuring: Motoramblings:    / motoramblings   NooBiker:    / noobiker   Walt In PA:    / waltinpa   Banditmanuk:    / banditmanuk   1:03 Why I'm riding Exeter Riders BMW R850R 3:49 What I think of the BMW R850R 4:52 What's it like in the twisties? 7:50 A sad story 9:09 A nice stretch of road 10:08 A quick look at the BMW R850R 10:57 A few more twisties 11:53 Outro I'm using my backup sound recorder for reasons explained in the video. That coupled with a screen that was the perfectly wrong height for me explains the poor sound. You may be pleased to know I have purchased a new mic adaptor for the GoPro, so I'll be back to normal next time (hopefully). My overall thoughts on the BMW R850R are very positive, despite my whinging about the screen and leg room. It was my first go on a boxer, and I was impressed. I found it a very plush, solid and comfortable ride. Handling was excellent although you could tell it's quite weighty. And it was quite pleasant riding such a quiet bike for a change. It just whirred away gently and I found it quite relaxing. In fact it was so quiet that I kept thinking it had stalled as I approached junctions. Only the rev counter would tell me otherwise. A big thank you to Exeter Rider for both lending me the bike, and taking mine to the dealership for me. Find his channel by following the link below.
