2022 XC - Clovis 5 (Girls, Championship, Full Race)

The 2022 Clovis Cross Country Invitational was held on October 8 at Woodward Park in Fresno, CA. The course is the same 5K layout used for the California State meet. This is the full course Race 5, the Girls Bill Buettner Championship (Varsity). Hanne Thomsen of Montgomery high pulls away before the 2.1 mile mark and wins by almost 25 seconds for a PR. A number of key athletes could not compete due to, or were affected by, illness, and pre-meet favorite Buchanan high did not have 5 scorers in the team competition.
