Tamiya 1/35th Cromwell IV Painting and Weathering

Painting and weathering of the Tamiya Cromwell IV Finishing the model built earlier. Cromwell IV of the 7th armoured division Enjoy The Cromwell marked a significant improvement over previous British designs, and provided 7th Armour Division as their MBT during the D-Day landings, and the fight through France and into Germany. 7th Armoured Division having fought across North Africa, and nicknamed 'The Desert Rats'. After North Africa they were deployed during the landings at Salerno in Italy to help repel German counter attacks. Once recalled back to England they were re-equipped with Cromwell IV and Firefly tanks. Each Platoon would have 3 Cromwell's and 1 'Firefly' as heavy support.
