We never expected to find this much treasure in one small town... We’re crossing the country with our van nearly bursting, and every stop is a chance to uncover something magical for our next big vintage market in Portland. In this episode, we pull into Nampa, Idaho—with no idea what’s waiting for us just off the highway. What we find is a stretch of antique malls that feel like stepping into the past—in the best way. The centerpiece? Village Antique Mall, looking better than ever under new management. I haven’t been here in 20 years, but two packed floors remind me why it’s still a must-stop for collectors. We start downstairs, hoping for hidden gems—and we’re not disappointed. A hand-painted Russian fairy tale box for $10 sets the tone. From there, it just keeps going: inlaid chairs, Capodimonte florals, Carnival glass, and even a table with a wildly specific purpose we didn’t see coming. Upstairs, the surprises continue—designer sunglasses, studio pottery, Alaskana, vintage hats, and so many little gold dresser treasures, each with a story to tell. These finds aren’t just bargains—they’re pieces with soul, and our kind of people will feel it. Even the rest of the building is changing, with weekend-only shops popping up. But Utter Clutter steals the show, and its owner makes us an offer we can’t pass up. Ornaments, ribbon art, barware, Murano glass—the van gets tighter with every stop. As we head toward Portland’s Rose City Vintage Market, the van is full—but so are our hearts.
