Leveling Up the Aiwa Excelia XK-009 With Modifications
A number of you will recall that a couple of the decks in my collection have been modified to be even better decks than they already were. My Technics RS-B755 was the first to get this treatment, followed by my Aiwa in disguise Carver TD-1700. However, the same type of mods are available for one of the best decks I own, the XK-009. Developed by Alex Nikitin of ANT Audio, these are supposed to elevate this deck to elite level. Let's get this done. Special thanks once again to @LT.tapeheads.service for the DBX relay module used in this video. Service inquiries (Canadian clients only): see email link in profile.
