Epic Steam at Gold Hill on the Virginia & Truckee Railroad

Hi, this is a video I made last December, sorry it took so long to get out. The first few seconds reveals a hint of the footage to come, with the Virginia & Truckee #steamlocomotive #29 taking a run at the Gold Hill steep curve as the tracks cross NV Hwy 342 by the Gold Hill Depot. We start out with a drone's view of the train exiting Tunnel 4. We watch as it slowly make its way to the shoofly, then down the hill into Gold Hill. The train settles in at the Gold Hill Depot for Santa's performance for the kiddies. We take a brief interlude for a couple minutes, looking at a "master shot" made by my DJI Air 2S drone showing various angles of the Gold Hill Depot. Once the performance is done, the train backs up to the edge of the property. We hear the whistle and see the chuffing as the lomomotive puts on an amazing #steam show as it approaches the depot. The train passes the depot and hits the crossing, then we see the train, a Candy Cane Express, chuff up the hill and around the shoofly.
