This program discusses the impact on a community when a fire department applies to improve their Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating. Also included are segments on identifying water supply sites and modifying those sites to ensure water availability throughout the changing seasons, training within the fire department and among mutual aid departments to develop a strong, uninterrupted flow of water to the incident, and adapting plans for rural communities and those undergoing change.
