DUBBING: Dragon Ball (1996, 2002, 2006) The first season of Dragon Ball was first dubbed in Brazil in 1996, at the now-defunct Gota Mágica studio (Gota Mágica closed its doors in 1997 and ceased operations entirely in 1999). It was dubbed up to episode 60, as SBT only aired the series up to that point. In 2002, the series moved to Rede Globo, and the episodes aired on SBT underwent a redub, with all the voices changed. Around episode 61, the series began to be dubbed on DPN in Santos. In 2006, when Cartoon Network began airing episodes from the first season, the episodes dubbed on DPN also underwent a redub. Our list includes two voice actresses who voiced Goku as a child. The first was Noeli Santisteban. The new Dragon Ball episodes (61 to 153) didn't arrive in Brazil at the time because SBT didn't order the new chapters from Alien International.
