What does this say about our pride and how we view our own successes? 📖 Second Reading — Letter to the Romans Paul writes to the communities in Rome: salvation is a gift of God's love— even when we were His enemies. No merit. Only grace. 📖 Gospel — Matthew (Mt 10) Jesus sends out his disciples and says, "You received without payment, give without payment." Mission is born out of gratitude—not obligation. 🧠 Modern psychology confirms: gratitude is one of the most powerful antidotes to stress, burnout, and feelings of emptiness.
