Fresh Meat Season 3 Episode 1 The gang return to Manchester Medlock for another term but this time they’re no longer freshers – they’re old hands. As they embark upon their second year, some things stay the same, but others are very different. JP has bought the house and is now their landlord as well as their housemate. And they have a new housemate – Candice, a naïve home-schooled first year who doesn’t know who Simon Cowell is. Even more importantly, Josie is not there anymore. Having embarked on a Zoology course at Southampton, her absence is felt by all of them, but not least by Kingsley. As Howard and JP try to coax unwitting female freshers to join their Dry Slope Skiing Soc, Vod’s Mexican summer fling turns up unexpectedly and drives a wedge between her and Oregon. The episode culminates in a trip to see Josie in Southampton, where a traffic light party kicks off and creates problems for Kingsley, who has been keeping quite a secret.
