3 BUDGET- FRIENDLY Morning Tea Treats Using CEREAL!

This week Im using pantry staples, and in particular CEREAL as the star of each of my recipes for family friendly, budget friendly treats- perfect to enjoy with a warm cup of tea. If you love homemade comfort food subscribe for more warm, down-to-earth recipes. #cereal #BakeryStyleAtHome #Easybudget Bran TeaCake 100g Bran (in the video I said 200g- 100g is the correct amount) 250ml tea 200g brown sugar 200g Self Raising Flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 Tbs golden syrup 1 tsp vanilla essence 1 egg 200g dried fruit of choice ( I used 100g dates, 100g apricots) (Baked at 175c fan forced for 50 mins) Cornflake, white chocolate and cinnamon Biscuits (cookies) 125g softened butter 100g white sugar 100g brown sugar 1 egg 1 cup cornflakes 250g Self Raising flour 100g white chocolate chips (or chunks) 1/4 tsp cinnamon (add 1/2 tsp for a more cinnamon flavour) (Baked at 160c fan forced for 6-12 mins - I did 8 mins) Tropical Rice Bubble Slice 4 cups rice cereal 50g butter 200g coconut oil 1 Tbs vanilla 1 1/2 cups icing sugar 1 cup coconut (plus 1 Tb for the topping) 1/2 cup powdered milk 1 cup mixins ( freeze dried strawberries and bananas) 100g white chocolate melted Extra crushed freeze dried fruit to sprinkle.
