The station is integrated with the Rod El Farag axis, the 26th of July axis, and the Ring Road, as well as various transportation systems (railways, metro, monorail, and public transport). It is connected to the Egyptian National Railways network, of which the station is now a part, and also to the third metro line, the West Nile monorail, and the bus rapid transit system. The station site covers 60 acres, including a multi-story parking garage and a mosque on 3 acres, with the station itself occupying 57 acres. The station building has four floors with a total area of ​​31,000 square meters and includes 11 platforms with a total length of 3,850 meters: passenger platforms for Upper Egypt/El Manashi (3,500 meters) and freight platforms (350 meters).
