The T3st (Drama) | When understanding breaks down
An imaginative ten-year-old boy is taken by his father for a “special” appointment — a moment meant to help him, but one that forces the child to confront fear, confusion, and the complexity of a world that doesn’t always speak his language. The T3st is a quiet, emotionally grounded drama that explores communication, childhood vulnerability, and the invisible barriers faced by neurodivergent individuals. Told through the perspective of a young mind, the film reflects on how fear can grow in silence — and how understanding begins when we learn how to listen. Only recently did I realize that communication — not intelligence — is the true barrier. With The T3st, I wanted to create a film that raises awareness about dyslexia and neurodivergence by conveying how this condition feels from the inside. Dyslexia is an invisible wall between myself and the world, yet filmmaking allowed me to translate my thoughts into something others could understand. This film reflects that experience in a way that is personal, empathetic, and accessible. An estimated 15–20% of the world’s population exhibits some form of neurodivergence, and this story is one small step toward greater understanding. #FilmShortage #DramaShortFilm #IndieFilm FILM SHORTAGE ON SOCIAL MEDIA Instagram: / filmshortage Twitter: / filmshortage Facebook: / filmshortage Website: https://filmshortage.com Film Shortage is home to the next generation of filmmakers, premiering some of the best and diverse short films online
