Connecting microcontrollers to ROS 2 has always been tricky. Micro-ROS helped, but often felt too heavy and limiting. Enter Pico-ROS, contributed by Ubiquity Robotics: a lightweight layer over Zenoh-Pico that delivers familiar ROS 2 abstractions (pub/sub, services, parameters) while keeping things small, simple, fast, and scalable.
