A good friend of mine by the name of Steve Daniel of Daniels Machine Shop in Augusta, Maine pointed out to me a few years ago how the AA Cylinder kits were having problems with flash blocking the cooling fins. He also discovered a problem with the overall heights of the cylinders. Since then, I have been sure to check all aftermarket cylinder kits I have purchased, and I have also found the flash and height problems to be pervasive.
