Here’s what driving the Fronx Sigma CNG will likely feel like, what to expect on Indian roads, especially in cities like Delhi/NCR etc.: Acceleration & Performance: Modest. The ~76 bhp and ~98 Nm torque isn’t going to blow you away, especially when the car is fully loaded or on inclines. It’s adequate for city speeds (0-60-80 km/h) and overtakes on highways will need planning. You won’t get a sporty punch, but it will be smooth for daily commutes. Fuel Cost Efficiency: This is where the CNG version shines. With ~28.5 km/kg claimed, the running cost will be significantly lower than petrol. So if you do a lot of city driving, you’ll benefit. CNG infrastructure is decent in many metros, though checking availability en route is wise for longer trips. Ride Comfort: Suspension is tuned more for comfort than sport-handling. Uneven roads, potholes, speed breakers — the MacPherson front & twist beam rear will manage them decently. Might have some thud/thump at high bumps, especially with basic tyres & steel rims. Handling & Control: Steering is power‐assisted (electric) and tilt adjustable. Not very tight in curves (because not made for high lateral grip), but its compact-SUV body and FWD layout make it easy to maneuver in traffic, parking etc. Space & Practicality: Good legroom for front & decent for rear (for its class). Boot space is reasonable (~308 litres for the petrol version per broader spec) though actual usable volume with CNG tank & fuel box/changes might be slightly less. V3Cars +2 CarWale +2 Comfort Features: Being base Sigma, don’t expect many premium touches. No sunroof, limited infotainment, basic AC. But essentials are covered: heater, defogger, power windows, etc. For many users, this is sufficient. Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH): CNG systems generally add some noise, especially near idle or during switching. Also, steel wheels + basic insulation mean more road & tyre noise compared to higher variants. But overall, Maruti/Suzuki tends to have decent build, so vibration should be acceptable. Maintenance & Reliability: Maruti has a wide network; parts & service are easier to get. CNG components add some maintenance but are tried & tested. As long as regular servicing is done, it should be reliable.
