Tailem Bend - Champions Ride Days - Feb 4 2023 - You Won't Believe How Lap 3 Ends!

Champion's ride day at The Bend raceway on Saturday Feb 4, 2023. It started like any other day with the normal sounds of morning - alarm clock, Harley Ferguson in the distance plodding along on the nearby main road and squirrels fighting over scraps in the neighbor's garbage bin. Little did I know the day had an expensive end for me in mind. Eh. Actually it wasn't that bad, I lowsided and the bike came out really well. The most expensive damage so far is to my jacket and it ended the day early. Oddly, I still enjoyed myself and the staff at Champion's Ride Days and The Bend were great. Shout out to the medical team and recovery crew. Unfortunately I heard there was a much more serious incident later in the day, but I was on the way home at that stage with my plans of eating a pepperoni pizza taking form in my mind. I hope anyone tied up in the incident has minimal damage to themselves or their bikes.
