Good coastal birding with Oystercatchers, Piping Plovers and Manx Shearwaters from.a local beach!
I had a really good day birding in foggy and rainy conditions, with the highlight being close looks at the breeding Manx Shearwaters at Revere Beach. I also got great looks at Piping Plovers and American Oystercatchers at nearby Winthrop Beach. I also saw a Black Scoter at Horn Pond on the same day! There are plenty of other good birds in this episode including a few early migrating warblers.
