Considered one of the most dangerous regions in the world, Talibanistan refers to an area in northwestern Pakistan, beyond the control of the central government. In these mountains bordering Afghanistan, Taliban fighters find refuge far from the authorities. This rare documentary takes us beyond the Pakistani army checkpoints, into a territory forbidden to journalists and foreigners. Self-governed by clan leaders, the region operates according to tribal codes based on honor, violence, and the cult of arms, inherited from ancestral traditions.
