Meg Giry: The Captive Songbird

I'm amazed that this happened. I mean, I like Sweeney Todd. It's Sondheim, what's not to like? But this is... unexpected, and a little weird. And once again, the audio got messed up a bit. But it's not too intrusive, so I don't think it will bother anyone tremendously. But it fits, eerily well. Long story short, I've used Johanna's song about wishing to be free and taken it sometimes metaphorically as it's meant and then rather more literally towards the end. I had intended to use the Sarah Rice rendition, because that version has the full lyrics, but ultimately I decided that Jayne Wisener's voice sounds a lot more like Jennifer Ellison's and therefore made it much more fitting for movie!Meg. I think, though, that all you Meg-lovers will appreciate it.
