Decogarden Team Challenge: Transform an old two-bedroom into a renovated retro-style bedroom. ➤ Materials and step-by-step instructions: 👉 RENOVATED FOR: 870 euros Bedrooms are the most personal area of ​​the house, and probably the one where we want to feel most comfortable as soon as we walk through the door. That's why their decoration and the colors we choose are so important. In Jorge's case, the goal was to transform the old-fashioned, dark bedroom into a renovated retro-style one. We wanted to revive that colorful, cheerful, and carefree touch of the 1960s. For the walls, we chose light green and, naturally, we paired it with a very colorful triangular geometric patterned wallpaper, which nods to past decades. The wrapping provided the color scheme for the rest of the elements. This way, we reused the furniture we already had and gave it a new color. Gray, mustard, blue, pink... these pastel shades are now the stars of this room. To break up this harmony, we've painted a 1970s lamp a bold red, turning it into a truly unusual piece. From the vault of memories, we've recovered this original golden sunburst mirror. For the beds, linens made of natural fabrics in light tones and bright, cheerful decorative pillows complement the rest of the elements very well. A small lamp, a colorful painting, and some bowls on the bedside table complete the decor.
