40 PS reichen völlig? Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 auf Vogesen-Tour

Two days, roughly 800 km, one goal: to find out how my Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 performs on a long-distance trip. The outward journey takes me along the western side of the Vosges Mountains, the return journey along the Rhine side – with panniers, luggage, and plenty of curves. In this video, I'll take you along on my two-day Vosges tour and share my honest impressions with you – from the first leg to the final verdict: ⛽ Fuel Consumption & Range: Just under 3 liters per 100 km despite the luggage – and a calculated range of over 500 km. I was surprised myself. 🪑 Rally Seat on a Long-Distance Trip: My interim conclusion after several hours in the saddle (and why standing on the pegs makes such a difference). 🔧 Engine & Transmission: Where the 40 hp is perfectly placed – and the one minor criticism regarding throttle response in 2nd and 3rd gear. 🛞 CEAT Tires: How the Indian tires perform on dry roads. 🧳 Luggage & Cases: Everything's secure, nothing wobbles – my impression of the basic luggage set. ⚠️ Important note for Vosges newcomers: the issue of loose gravel and cobblestones on the curves. 🏔️ On the road, among other places, at the Champ du Feu and the Grand Ballon, the highest mountain in the Vosges – and the Tour de France was already in the air. My conclusion upfront: I'm thrilled.
