STAKEHOLDER WORKSHOP ON GOVERNANCE IN URBAN TRANSPORT IN UGANDA

This is a stakeholder workshop for our research program; Making and Implementing Decisions in Transport in Sub-Saharan Africa (MID -UTA). This African Research Program (ARP) is initiated and funded by Volvo Research and Educational Foundations (VREF) as part of the research program ”Mobility and Access in African Cities” (MAC). It’s a collaboration between Kyambogo University (Uganda), University of Cape Coast (Ghana), Redeemer's University ( Nigeria), Multimedia University (Kenya) & University of Birmingham (UK). The MID-UTA team will explore governance aspects related to power dynamics, policy & polity in walking, public transport & paratransit modes of transport.
