Cleaning up after breakfast | a day in the life of a working mom After breakfast with my girls, we clean up together before the morning rush begins. Then I drop them off at school and kindergarten and head to work. Later in the day when I return home, it feels great to see the dishes already done. That means there is less for me to do. I pack a few things away, take a little rest, do one or two small house chores, and then go pick up the kids. Later in the evening we come together again for dinner.
