If we talk about the price of salvation, we would be committing a doctrinal error, because it has already been paid by the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. But we must understand that once we have received that salvation freely, a new stage begins in our lives: to be disciples, that is, to follow Christ and live as true children of God. And that does have a price, not because we have to buy God's favor, but because following Christ requires decisions, renunciations, obedience, perseverance, and faith.
